We feel biblical community is best done in small, biblically based, relational environments where mature disciples can be made. Groups are the primary way we accomplish this.

Find Your Group

Finding your tribe is easy.

We are trying to make it easier to 'find your people.' While we mostly focus our learning around the same things, our groups are as diverse as our church is.

We meet in different places; from homes to coffee shops and everything in between. You will find groups with people in the same stage of life to groups that have people from decades apart in age. It's all about finding the ones you are doing life with and becoming more like Jesus, together.

Every group has a different 'personality' and way of doing things, but one thing you can count on is a welcoming environment and forming friendships that matter.

Most of our adult groups are 'sermon based,' which helps focus our church and creates space to take Sunday's message further. But there are also a number of groups centered around books we enjoy, leadership, family, and growing as a disciple of Jesus.

You know that it's important to belong to a community, not just attend a church.

We know that defining community is tough because being in community is more than showing up for church. Community is messy. It can also be beautiful. It's coming around the table, laughing till it hurts, and learning the way of Jesus together. It's also crying with a certain family after group and praying around hospital beds.

Why lead a group?

Jesus made His mission clear when He said 'Go and make disciples.' At the way we intentionally make disciples as a church is through our Groups.

A great leadership mantra is 'lead from the front.' It doesn't mean that you're perfect or have to commit every night of the week or you have to be a theologian. It just means that you 'go first' in living like Jesus and then you bring along others for the journey.

If you love helping people take their next step, seeing friends become family and celebrating life change then maybe leading a Group is your next step. Maybe this is what you were made for!

In a nutshell, a group is a community, a 'family.'

Most groups will will take the materials provided each week to go deeper into our Sunday message, using it to discover the way of Jesus more and more. Other groups hit specific topics around marriage, family, finance, leadership and disciple making.

Each group will also 'adopt' a local organization that we partner with and serve there on a consistent basis to make a difference in our community.
