You can do several things when writing a blog post that are kind of like the normal page builder. Like adding videos, creating picture galleries and of course….writing stuff.
The most important part of a blog though? Consistency.
Use this space to share church updates, tell the stories of your people, go deeper into Sunday’s sermon, have a prayer journal/devotional area that people can follow along with, and share what God is teaching you and your church.
Blog spaces can be beautiful tools of discipleship that can be a part of forming and shaping your core congregation as well as reaching new people in your community.
And speaking of reaching new people…
Don’t forget SEO (Search Engine Optimization). When you create a new blog there is a Search Engine area at the bottom asking you to add a Title and Description to tell Google and other search engines what this post is about. There is also an area that says ‘Facebook Image’ and ‘Twitter Image’ that tells social media channels what image to share when someone shares your post.
